Food Control Plans

National Programmes

Registration and multi-site scope

Before registering, the business needs to know whether it will use an FCP or National Programme. Separation and hygiene

Cross-contamination controls should be built into the movement of food, utensils and people. Raw poultry, seafood and meat need appropriate separation from ready-to-eat ingredients, and staff need a clear method for changing gloves or washing hands when tasks change.

Handwashing facilities should be easy to reach and used for hand hygiene, not as a general-purpose sink.
