BioPak Black Aqueous Double Wall Hot BioCups combine an insulating outer wall with a coordinated black aqueous finish, helping hot drinks feel more comfortable in hand while keeping takeaway presentation consistent across the available sizes. Sold by the carton.

Key Features

  • Double wall construction improves in-hand insulation and can reduce the need for a separate sleeve
  • Aqueous water-dispersion barrier on current production
  • Variants clearly identify capacity and rim diameter for reliable lid matching
  • Carton and sleeve quantities are shown below for ordering and stock planning

Why Choose This Product?

Choose double wall when customer comfort and a clean, sleeve-free handover matter more than the lowest cup cost or the smallest storage footprint. The deep black finish creates a sharp, modern presentation that reads confidently at the counter and in the customer’s hand. It is an easy way to lift the perceived finish of takeaway service, while the aqueous barrier supports a home-compostable cup specification.

Simply Hospitality Notes

Double wall cups are the better operational choice when drinks are served very hot or carried for longer, because the extra layer improves comfort without adding a sleeve. Always match lids by the stated rim diameter—not the nominal ounce size—and test the assembled cup and lid before changing either component.

Product Guide

Use 8oz variants for shorter coffees and compact servings, 12oz for common takeaway formats, and 16oz for large drinks. The 80mm and 90mm 8oz variants use different lid systems, so treat rim diameter as a purchasing specification. Double wall construction is most useful where customers hold the cup for longer or sleeves slow down service.

Materials, Use & Verified Claims

  • Material: Paper
  • Lining - coating: Aqueous water-dispersion coating (current production)
  • Suitable use: Hot & Wet Products

Current coating note: BioPak’s current product pages identify these cup families as using an aqueous water-dispersion coating and describe the applicable products as home compostable to AS5810. Because BioPak has transitioned ranges from PLA, use the certification and disposal markings on the delivered carton as the final reference.

Lid Compatibility

Choose lids by the rim diameter shown in the variant name. The 63mm system is used for 4oz cups; 80mm is the small BioCup system; and 90mm is the large system. Capacity alone is not a reliable compatibility check because some 8oz and 12oz formats use different rims.

Ordering Notes

All variants on this listing are supplied and priced by the full carton. Sleeve counts describe the inner pack arrangement inside that carton and are provided for storage and stock planning.
