Product guide
Cookrite hotplates are designed for flat-surface gas cooking. They are commonly used for eggs, bacon, smash burgers, sandwiches, proteins, vegetables and high-turnover café or takeaway items.
Choose 300mm or 400mm models for small menus, side stations or food trucks; 600mm for a flexible mid-size cooking surface; and 900mm or 1200mm when the hotplate is a major part of the production line.
Freestanding hotplates are better when you want an integrated cooking line, while countertop hotplates suit kitchens with existing benching or where equipment may be reconfigured.
When comparing this model with an open burner cooktop, choose the hotplate if most of your cooking is direct-contact grilling. Choose open burners if you mostly use pots, pans and stockpots.
Allow for LPG installation, commercial extraction and a cleaning routine that suits flat-plate cooking. Correct seasoning, scraping and daily cleaning will help maintain cooking performance.
