The TurboChef ECO Bandido takes the compact ECO platform and adds dedicated upper and lower press plates for fast toasted sandwiches, panini and pressed breakfast products. It combines rapid internal heating with direct surface contact, producing a more deliberate pressed finish than a standard open tray.

Purpose-Built Pressed Food Production

The Bandido uses the ECO's microwave and impingement platform but adds anodised aluminium press plates above and below the product. This improves contact across the bread surface and gives the operator a repeatable pressed result without using a separate contact grill and reheating appliance.

Menu Development

It is particularly well suited to panini, toasted sandwiches, wraps and pressed breakfast products. Test the complete build—including bread density, filling temperature, moisture and finished compression—because the press changes both chamber clearance and the way heat reaches the product. The touchscreen stores repeatable programmes for different builds.

Cleaning and Installation

The press plates and food-contact areas require a specific close-down routine. Cleaner and guard, two solid aluminium pans and an oven paddle are supplied. Electrical requirements remain practical for many existing sites at 230V, 15A, with the specified D-type breaker. Confirm ventless suitability for the intended menu and local requirements.
