An undercounter UC warewasher with integrated heat recovery, using cold inlet water to reduce energy demand and the steam released when the door opens.

  • Integrated heat recovery reduces steam release and preheats cold inlet water
  • Touch display and VarioPower adjustable pressure
  • Quadruple filtration with clouding sensor
  • Fully insulated cabinet
  • Drain and rinse-booster pumps
  • Integrated detergent and rinse-aid dosing with storage tanks

Why Choose This Product

Choose UC Energy where the machine sits behind a bar, beneath a counter or close to staff and guests. Heat recovery tackles the heat and vapour that make a wash station unpleasant, while preserving the UC platform’s application-specific programs, pressure control and rack choices. It is a comfort-and-efficiency upgrade, not merely a faster version of UC.

Simply Hospitality Notes

Check the under-bench opening carefully: the Energy module raises cabinet height to 810–845mm on S/M and 905–940mm on L/XL. Confirm cold-water supply and practical door clearance. If polish-free glassware is the priority, compare Excellence-i; heat recovery and reverse osmosis solve different problems.

Product Guide

Choose the Energy size exactly as you would standard UC—rack footprint first, then entry height—but allow for the taller cabinet and cold-water supply. UC-S Energy is compact, UC-M Energy suits general 500mm racks, UC-L Energy handles taller ware, and UC-XL Energy adds depth and wider rack compatibility.

Brand Guide

About Winterhalter: Winterhalter specialises in professional warewashing as a complete system: the machine, water treatment, chemicals and rack are selected to work together. Its UC undercounter, PT pass-through and UF utensil platforms are engineered for dependable wash quality, hygiene control and operating efficiency, with features such as VarioPower pressure adjustment, multi-stage filtration, connected monitoring and heat recovery applied according to the workload.

Operational Fit

UC-S Energy is the compact 400mm-rack model; UC-M Energy is the 500mm-rack choice with 309mm entry; UC-L Energy raises entry to 404mm; UC-XL Energy adds depth and 500 x 540mm compatibility. All are taller than standard UC models and require a cold-water connection for the recovery system.

Controls, Hygiene & Wash Performance

  • Integrated heat recovery reduces steam release and preheats cold inlet water
  • Touch display and VarioPower adjustable pressure
  • Quadruple filtration with clouding sensor
  • Fully insulated cabinet
  • Drain and rinse-booster pumps
  • Integrated detergent and rinse-aid dosing with storage tanks

Matched Racks, Water Treatment & Chemicals

  • Rack compatibility follows the equivalent standard UC size; the Energy module changes cabinet height and services, not rack footprint.
  • AT Excellence-S may be combined where polish-free finish is needed, but coordinate cold-water flow and treatment capacity at design stage.
  • Select the chemical system around application and water quality, then commission dosing after heat-recovery and water-treatment settings are confirmed.

Installation & Operating Considerations

  • Confirm the exact electrical build, water pressure, inlet temperature, drainage and backflow requirements on the final specification sheet and supplier quotation.
  • Allow service access, door or hood movement and a safe dirty-to-clean workflow; external dimensions alone do not define a workable wash area.
  • Commission chemicals, water treatment and programs to the local water and actual ware. Published outputs are theoretical and depend on loading and site services.
