Size this range around the largest recurring utensil, the peak batch volume and how racks will be moved—not around plate counts. Confirm door-open height, three-phase capacity and whether a rack dolly or cold-water pre-wash will materially reduce lifting and manual soaking. UF-XL needs significantly more frontage and handling space than UF-M/L.

Choose UF-M for heavy utensil loads where a 612 x 672mm rack and 640mm opening are sufficient. Choose UF-L when the same rack footprint needs 800mm vertical clearance. Choose UF-XL for wide production items requiring the 1305 x 672mm rack. Compare EnergyPlus and cold-water pre-wash options at specification stage, not after installation.

Matched Racks, Water Treatment & Chemicals

  • Use the supplied stainless rack and select tray, sheet or container inserts around the ware. A rack dolly can materially improve handling at UF scale.
  • DuoMatik 3 is the relevant softener for continuous higher demand; size treatment from water analysis and peak flow.
  • A 100 e or A 140 e can support compatible soaking workflows; F6200 is a strong main-wash comparison for durable pots and utensils.

Installation & Operating Considerations

  • Confirm the exact electrical build, water pressure, inlet temperature, drainage and backflow requirements on the final specification sheet and supplier quotation.
  • Allow service access, door or hood movement and a safe dirty-to-clean workflow; external dimensions alone do not define a workable wash area.
