A contact grill performs best with standardised product thickness. Train staff not to force the top plate down.

Choose plate size and surface around the actual sandwich or protein format. Two-sided contact shortens cook time and improves repeatability, but product thickness and pressure must be controlled. Confirm single/double plate, smooth/ribbed surface, PTFE system compatibility and electrical supply.
